Deep down Amanda is actually on the opposite side of the court together with the outcasts and the geeks, and so she befriended the geeks instead and helped them find their place in the society, and of course Amanda found her prince charming before the whole movie ends.
What a Girl Wants is a movie about a girl who grew up thinking that she does not have a father and lived with her mother all her life. The very happy-go-lucky girl in this movie played by the very pretty and perky Amanda Bynes, who is very suitable for the role, found out later on in the movie that she actually has a dad in the United Kingdom and someone who is very famous in his country as one of the leading political figures, not to mention that even though Colin Firth who played Amanda Bynes father is already old, he still looks like a million bucks and more.

Another really great high school movie of all time. The storyline is really simple. The most popular girl (Amanda Peterson) in school was in trouble and the school geek (Patrick Dempsey) end up solving her problem. To repay him, she agrees to date him for a week so that he will become popular. Of course, trouble brews when his popularity went over his head.
Although this movie was released in 1987, the situation that the two lead stars find their selves in is certainly applicable to present time. Maybe it is because it is still important for teenagers to be considered cool and popular.
